Grand Island Tour of Corfu description
​
We will pick up our customers from their accommodation and start the tour by visiting a local producer, where to taste homemade products, such as extra virgin olive oil, fresh bread, honey, sundried tomatoes, marmalades, liquors, kumquat, and many more. Feel free to taste them, and also buy them if you want to take some of these tastes back home.
​
After a short drive, your vehicle will reach Paleokastritsa Bay, an amazing place where the blue emerald sea creates coves surrendered by green olive trees and cypresses forests. Marvel at these breathtaking views: bougainvillaeas, palm trees, oranges and lemons, and many more, cover the area which stays green all year round. Enjoy one hour-free time for swimming, sunbathing, or having a snack in one of the local cafeterias. Here, you can also take an optional boat ride to the sea caves and admire the beauty of the area from the sea. Also, the Monastery of the Virgin of Paleokastritsa can be visited during your free time.

Next, we will drive up to Lakones Village's Balcony of the Gods, where a Greek snack will be served together with a glass of Greek wine, ouzo, or a soft drink while admiring the amazing views.
On the way to the North, the castle of Angelokastro will be seen from a distance, before reaching Loggas Beach with a stop for photos and swimming as well.

Next, we will head towards Canal D'Amour, one of the most famous places to see in Corfu.
And finally Kassiopi, with a beautiful fishing port and plenty of cafeterias and taverns where to have a rest before returning to our accommodation.

- The optional boat ride costs 10 euros per person and must be paid cash on board. There are ATMs in the area but we recommend you bring euros with you in order to avoid waiting times.

Also:

- The walk to the Monastery takes 20 minutes uphill. The Monastery has free entrance.
- We advise you to wear comfortable shoes, a swimsuit, a towel, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera.
- The route can be modified depending on the starting time and traffic.

Please note that there is a minimum number of travellers required for the tour. We will confirm availability at least two days before your arrival.
