Achilleion Palace and Corfu Old Town
This impressive monument was built between 1889 and 1891 in Neoclassic style by the Italian architect Raffaele Caritto, and was designed to suggest an ancient palace of mythical Phaeacia. The building has three floors, accessible by elevator. Each one of them hides many interesting pieces of art, photographs, paintings, furniture, and an amazing garden too.
